Health checks & your score
Most security advice is a lecture. SecBird is a checklist with a score — and every item comes with a walkthrough that shows exactly where to tap, for your exact service.
What we check
For every account you add, we track three things that actually matter:
- Two-step sign-in (2FA) — the single biggest upgrade for any account. We also care how: an authenticator app or passkey counts for more than a code sent by SMS, because SIM-swapping is a real attack.
- Connected apps & permissions — the "sign in with…" grants and API keys you approved years ago and forgot. We help you review the list and keep a private inventory so next time takes two minutes.
- Your data, backed up — most services let you export your data. Doing it once means a hack or a lockout can't take your photos, contacts, or history with it.
Every check is one of four states, in words, never just a color: Good, Needs attention, Critical, or Due for a re-check — because settings drift, and a check you did two years ago isn't a check.
The score
Each account rolls up into a Security Health score out of 100 — per account, per profile, and overall. The dashboard always shows your next best move with the points it's worth, so improving your score is a five-minute decision, not a research project.
Walkthroughs written for humans
One step per screen. Plain words. A "this doesn't match what I see" button on every step, so when a service moves its settings around, you tell us once and we fix the guide for everyone.
